The first thing you should know is hot to use Pot Odds Calculators (POC). These are freeware programs that calculate many parameters (such as the stakes and your hand) and tell you if you should fold or check or double your bet and so on.
In live poker games these are forbidden, but when you play online poker no body can tell whether you use such devices, so you actually gain a great advantage on other players.
Another system you can use is Player Statistics program. This program learns your opponents' moves and decides what they will do next. The more time you play at an online poker room the more the program learns, and by using AI and simple statistics methods it can predict your opponents' future moves. Notice that you can use this program without getting caught, but it takes much time to master this program.
